Remember the days when it seemed as if any idiot could put money in the stock market and make a fat return? Well, many idiots did put money in the market and I was one of them. The returns were fat for a while, but only on paper and because I was an amateur riding the back of a powerful but unpredictable fire-breathing dragon otherwise known as Wall Street, I got burned.
