1. What’s in your wallet right now?Don't carry one. 2. What do you wish your parents taught you about money?Instead of telling me "it doesn't grow on trees," tell me more about making it. 3. Where does money come from?My money comes from working 18 hours a day. 7. What would you do with a million dollars?Put it into my beer company. 8. What is your most prized possession?My house. 9. Who is your role model?Madonna — that woman knows how to reinvent herself! 10. What is your greatest achievement?Being the "pioneering woman" in the beer industry. 11. How did your company get started?Short answer? Inspired by a genius, and powered by me. 12. What contributions to society do you want to make?Giving back, particularly to medical-related charities. 13. If you could buy one thing right now what would it be?A mechanic to fix my 1961 Corvette. 14. Favorite activity that doesn’t cost a dime?Sex. 15. How do you indulge yourself?Buying a pair of good shoes. Rhonda Kallman is a beer-industry veteran without the beer gut. In 1984, she co-founded The Boston Beer Company, makers of Samuel Adams, and during her 15-year tenure, built the most admired and best trained sales force in that highly competitive business. In 1990, the Brewers Association of America honored Kallman with its Recognition Award for being the “Pioneering Woman in the Beer Industry.” |
